One Vehicle Crash CFS20-26560 10/22/20 INDIAN CREEK RD, POTOSI, WI 53820 On October 22, 2020 at approximately 8:00 AM Amanda Morin, age 34 of Dickeyville, was traveling North on Indian Creek Road near the intersection of Dark Lane, Paris Township in her 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. Morin told the Sheriff's Office that she swerved to miss a deer that was in the roadway. Morin went off the East side off the roadway crashing into a tree and coming to rest in a creek bed. Morin was able to get out of the vehicle and walk to the Village of Dickeyville and call for assistance. Morin was wearing her safety belt and was not injured in the crash. This incident remains under investigation. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Donnie Tire and Tow (Dickeyville).

Two Vehicle Accident  On October 16, 2020 at approximately 12:00 PM Barbara Glissendorf, age 65 of La Crosse, was following a slow moving farm vehicle on Highway 80 near the intersection of Lone Road in her 2007 Toyota Highlander. Following Glissendorf was Daniel Powell, age 17 of Cuba City, in his 2001 Buick Lesabre. The farm vehicle slowed to turn west into a private driveway. Glissendorf slowed her Toyota. Powell did not see the vehicles slowing and crashed into the Toyota. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were assisted on scene by Cuba City EMS. Powell was issued a citation for inattentive driving. The Grant County Sheriff was assisted on scene by Cuba City EMS, Cuba City Fire, Cuba City Police Department, and SOS Towing (Platteville). One Vehicle crash with Injury  CFS20-26350 10/20/20 GRANDVIEW RD, STITZER, WI 53825 At 5:43 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a one vehicle crash with injuries on Grandview Road

Three Vehicle Crash 10/07/20 County Road U / Salis Road, POTOSI, WI On October 7, 2020 at 5:21 PM the Grant County Dispatch Center received a report of a three vehicle crash at County Road U and Salis Road. A 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Ryan Flesch, age 31 of Potosi, was traveling east on County Road U, behind a 2005 Toyota Sienna, driven by Hilary Sahr, age 39 of Cassville. Sahr activated her right turn signal and began to slow to turn right onto Salis Road. Flesch did not see that Sahr was slowing to make a turn and struck the rear of her vehicle. The impact caused the Sahr's vehicle to cross the center line and spin around and strike a 2013 Volkswagen Passat, being driven by Randy Reynolds of Potosi, coming to a rest in the westbound lane. Between the three vehicle's involved there were 11 occupants. Flesch was cited as a result of the crash. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Bennett's Automotive Services.  No injuries were report

Car vs. Garbage Truck Date 10/02/20 Address 100 BLK EAST STREET, POTOSI, WI 53820  On October 2, 2020 at approximately 8:20 AM Don Blevins, age 49 of Platteville, was operating a 2006 Freightliner garbage truck owned by Fahtery Inc. of Platteville. Blevins parked the truck facing West in the 100 block of East Street in the Village of Potosi. Blevins activated the amber emergency lights and exited the truck to load. While Blevins was working outside of the truck Kristin Kammes, age 19 of Potosi, was traveling East on East Street in her 2011 Ford Fusion. Kammes took her eyes off of the roadway to look for an object in her vehicle. Kammes did not see the truck parked and crashed into it. Kammes was wearing her safety belt and air bags deployed in her vehicle. Kammes was treated on scene by Potosi EMS and was not transported. Blevins who was out of the truck working was not injured in the crash. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by The Village of Potosi/Tennyson,
