Three Vehicle Crash 10/07/20 County Road U / Salis Road, POTOSI, WI On October 7, 2020 at 5:21 PM the Grant County Dispatch Center received a report of a three vehicle crash at County Road U and Salis Road. A 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Ryan Flesch, age 31 of Potosi, was traveling east on County Road U, behind a 2005 Toyota Sienna, driven by Hilary Sahr, age 39 of Cassville. Sahr activated her right turn signal and began to slow to turn right onto Salis Road. Flesch did not see that Sahr was slowing to make a turn and struck the rear of her vehicle. The impact caused the Sahr's vehicle to cross the center line and spin around and strike a 2013 Volkswagen Passat, being driven by Randy Reynolds of Potosi, coming to a rest in the westbound lane. Between the three vehicle's involved there were 11 occupants. Flesch was cited as a result of the crash. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Bennett's Automotive Services. One Vehicle Crash with Injury Address CANNON RD / BUCKWHEAT RIDGE RD, LANCASTER, WI 53813 At 11:35 p.m. on May 13, 2020, the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a one vehicle crash on Cannon Road near Buckwheat Ridge Road in Ellenboro Township. The investigation shows a 2018 GMC Sierra was being operated by Richard Martin, 58, of Lancaster. As Martin was traveling north on Cannon Road, he crested a hill and failed to negotiate a curve. Martin's vehicle left the roadway and struck a large culvert. The investigation shows Martin was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Martin was transported to Grant Regional Health Center by Lancaster EMS with serious injuries. Assisting the Sheriff's office at the crash scene was the Lancaster Fire Department, Lancaster EMS and Bennett's Towing of Lancaster. The crash remains under investigation, however speed and alcohol may be factors in the crash.
