Grant County Traffic Accidents

One Vehicle Rollover into Creek PLATTE RD, POTOSI, WI On November 20, 2020 at approximately 9:37am Grant County Deputies were dispatched to a report of a one vehicle rollover crash on CTH B near Platte Rd, located in the Township of Harrison. Krista Eash, age 21 from Potosi, was traveling eastbound in her 2006 Ford Five Hundred. While negotiating a curve, Eash's vehicle entered the gravel shoulder on the south side of the roadway. Eash overcorrected, fishtailed, spun out of control across both lanes of travel, left the roadway on the north side of CTH B, struck a fence, went down an eight foot embankment, rolled, and the vehicle came to rest on its roof in a creek. Eash was able to free herself and her 5 month old baby from the vehicle. Eash was wearing her seatbelt and her baby was properly restrained in a child seat. One vehicle rollover CFS20-27551 11/01/20 HWY 80, CUBA CITY, WI 53807 On November 1, 2020 at approximately 12:14 a.m., Jordan A. Blundell, age 24 of Platteville was traveling south on STH 80 just south of Lone Road. Blundell crossed the center line and lost control of his 2006 Buick Lacrosse crashing into trees and a machine shed. Blundell refused treatment by Cuba City EMS. After an investigation, Blundell was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. The vehicle was a total loss. The Grant County Sheriff's office was assisted by the Cuba City EMS and Fire Departments along with Donnie's Tire and Tow of Dickeyville. **Persons arrested by the Grant County Sheriff's Office are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. An arrest is only an indication that probable cause exists to bring formal charges.** The names of victims and witnesses to a crime have been withheld in accordance with §950.04.
