CFS # Date Address One vehicle crash CFS19-30142 10/23/19 On October 23, 2019, at approximately 12:12 a.m., Bryan Dozier, age 22 of Tyler, TX, was traveling north on Southwest Road in PlattevilleTownship when he fell asleep, entered the left ditch line and crashed into a line pole. Dozier's 2017 Nissan Sentra was totaled in the crash. The vehicle was removed by SOS Towing of Platteville. Traffic Stop leads to OWI Arrest CFS19-30243 10/23/19 Hwy 151, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818 On October 23, 2019 at approximately 11:56 pm, a Grant County Deputy was traveling south on Hwy 151 near County O when he met avehicle traveling north in the south bound lane. At the same time the Grant County Communications Center received a 911 call of this same vehicle, with the complaint of it traveling north in the south bound lane. The Grant County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle near Hummingbird Lane. The driver was identified as Devin Malott, age 28 of Belmont. After an investigation,

Press Release October 21, 2019 CFS # Date Address Semi Rollover Crash with Injury CFS19-29770 10/19/19 HWY 81 / AIRPORT RD, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818 On October 19, 2019 at approximately 4:30 a.m., the Grant County Dispatch Center received a report of a semi that had crashed on State Highway 81 at Airport Road, in the Township of Ellenboro. Maurice O'Leary, age 56 of Footville, WI, was traveling east on State Highway 81, in a 2005 Kenworth semi pulling a fully loaded tanker with milk, when he struck a deer in the roadway then traveled into the guardrail on the south side of the road and continued off of the roadway down an embankment causing the semi to overturn and roll striking a power pole before coming to a rest on its side. O'Leary was transported by Southwest Health EMS due to his injuries. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Southwest Health EMS, Platteville Fire Department, and Guy's Towing out of Kieler. 1 VEHICLE CRASH CFS19

CFS # Date Address Semi rolls onto side CFS19-29364 10/15/19 HWY 35/61/81, Lancaster, WI 53813 On October 15, 2019 at approximately 12:05 p.m., Hugo Oeretl, age 21 of Toronto, ND, was southbound on Hwy 35 & 61 & 81. He went to make the turn onto Hwy 81, to head east, and was traveling too fast as he went to turn. The trailer was fully loaded with corn and as he tried to make the turn, the semi trailer tipped onto the passenger side. Oeretl was issued a citation for failure to keep vehicle under control. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Lancaster Fire Department and Guy's Truck and Tractor. The road was closed for a period of time as the corn was offloaded and the vehicle was tipped upright. There were no injuries.

CFS # Date Address Inattentive driving causes crash CFS19-28372 10/05/19 HWY 80, CUBA CITY, WI 53807 On 10/05/2019, Jeffrey Marshall, age 45 of Cuba City, was traveling southbound on Hwy 80 and Matthew Clark, age 23 of Platteville, wastraveling westbound on St. Rose Rd. Matthew did not see the stop sign, failed to stop and was struck by Jeffrey. Jeffrey's 2019 ChevroletSilverado and Matthew's 2012 Chevrolet Equinox both sustained heavy damage. No injuries were reported. Donnies Tire and Tow, ofDickeyville, removed both vehicles. Matthew was cited for Inattentive Driving and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. Inattentive driving causes second crash CFS19-28378 10/05/19 HWY 80, CUBA CITY, WI 53807 On 10/05/19, Patricia Schuetz, age 49, of Darlington, was traveling northbound and Tyler Walton, age 18, of Benton was traveling southboundon Hwy 80 near St. Rose Road. Tyler was staring at an ongoing crash investigation and failed to yield the right of way while he turned left ontoS

CFS # Date Address Two vehicle crash, no injury CFS19-28258 10/04/19 HWY 80, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818 On 10/4/19, Charles E. Bokar, age 65 of Naperville IL, was traveling in his 2019 Jaguar SUV northbound on Hwy 80 in the PlattevilleTownship. Emily C. Kuhl, age 25 of Benton, was in her 2011 Chevy Cruze at the stop sign at Enterprise Dr and Hwy 80. Emily looked but did not see Charles vehicle due to another van in the turn lane, that was turning on Enterprise Dr. Emily pulled out onto Hwy 80 and was struck by Charles. Occupants of both vehicles were evaluated by Platteville EMS and no injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene. Platteville Fire Department, Platteville Police Department, and SOS Towing assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Press Release October 1, 2019 CFS # Date Address 1 vehicle crash with minor injuries CFS19-27866 09/30/19 Hwy 35 .2 mi north of Kansas Rd. On Sept. 30, 2019 at approximately 11:25 p.m., Ryan Flagel, age 27 of rural Prairie Du Chien, was traveling southbound on Hwy 35, just north of Kansas Rd., in the Town of Patch Grove. Flagel was operating his 2008 Ford Fusion and as he began to negotiate the curve, he ended up crossing the center line and he struck the ditch and a culvert on the east side of the road. Flagel's vehicle had severe damage as a result of the crash and had to be towed from the scene. Flagel suffered minor injuries, but refused transport. After further investigation, Flagel was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. Assisting the Grant County Sheriff's Office at the scene were the West Grant EMS, Bloomington Fire Department and B&M Towing out of Bloomington. **Persons arrested by the Grant County Sheriff
