Fatal Crash Near Potosi WI.
Two Vehicle crash results in fatality Address HWY 35/61 / ABING RD, POTOSI, WI 53820 On Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at approximately 6:35 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff's Office was notified of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Hwy 35/61 and Abing Road in Potosi Township. Grant County Sheriff's Office Deputies, along with the Potosi Fire and EMS units were dispatched to the scene. During the investigation it was determined that a 2016 Kenworth Semi, owned by Zimmerman Transfer, Inc. of Dodgeville, WI ,was being driven by 54 year old Brian Cathman of Lancaster. Cathman was heading south on Hwy 35/16 when a 2006 Dodge Ram pickup, owned by H/E Squared Construction LLC of Bloomington, WI, failed to stop at the posted stop sign on Abing Road at Hwy 35/61. The driver, 42 year old James Hendrickson of Bloomington, WI drove through the intersection and struck the passenger side of the south bound semi.
