Three vehicle crash Hwy 80 & College Farm Rd 10/09/20 HWY 80, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818
Subjects Involved:

Driver: Sean McKenzie Platteville WI (42) 
Driver: Shakira Ruiz-Rodriguez Darlington WI (22) 
Passenger: Giovany Hernandez-Fleiberty Darlington WI. (32) 
Vehicles Involved: 
Martin was driving a 2014 Chevy Cruze 
McKenzie was driving a 2009 Dodge Journey 
Rodriguez was driving a 2004 Kia Sedona 

On Friday, October 9, 2020 at 8:00 A.M. the Grant County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Hwy 80 at & College Farm Road in Platteville
Township for a three vehicle crash with possible injuries. Platteville Fire & Rescue squads were dispatched. After arriving and speaking with
the drivers involved and a witness. It was determined Martin had been traveling south on Hwy 80 when she came to a stop at the intersection
of Hwy 80 at College Farm Road with her left turn signal to make a left turn. Martin was waiting on northbound traffic when McKenzie ran into the rear of Martin. Martin's vehicle spun out of control and struck Rodriguez's vehicle who was traveling north on Hwy 80 at the time of the crash. Martin, Rodriguez, Fleiberty and their juvenile child were not injured. McKenzie was transported to Southwest Health Center for
unknown injuries. McKenzie was cited for Inattentive Driving. 
Martins vehicle was removed SOS Towing from Platteville and McKenzie's vehicle was removed by Donnie's Tire & Tow. Rodriguez vehicle was driven away. Martin's & McKenzie's vehicles received heavy damage airbags were deployed in both vehicles. Rodriguez vehicle had
minor damage. 

The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Platteville Fire & Rescue.


Two vehicle crash, no injuries

On 10/11/20 at approximately 10:56 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a two vehicle crash on County X near County C.

 19 yo Colton Clark and 39 yo Brett Lessard, Jr, both of Bagley. Colton Clark, age 19 Bagley, WI, was northbound driving a 2003 Dodge Rampulling a bale mover. Clark was in the process of making a right turn into the driveway to the address of 12446 CTH X,in the Town of
Wyalusing. Brett Lessard, age 39 of Bagley, WI, was also northbound on CTH X in his 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada. Clark had almost completed the turn, when Lessard ended up striking the bale mover just behind the tires. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. The front airbags on Lessard's vehicle were deployed and his vehicle suffered heavy front end damage and was disabled. Clark's vehicle and trailer did not appear to suffer any damage.
Neither driver appeared to suffer any injuries. West Grant EMS did respond to the scene, but transport was refused. Lessard made his own
arrangements to remove the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.

CFS20-17002 Date 07/16/20 ONE VEHICLE CRASH WITH MINOR DAMAGE Address HWY 18 / OAK RD, FENNIMORE, WI 53809 On July 16, 2020, at approximately 7:55 A.M., Jessica Kricke (22 of Fennimore), was driving her 2009 Lincoln MKZ wes on Hwy 18 in Mt. Ida Township, when she swerved to avoid an animal in the road and drove into the north ditch. Kricke drove over several large rocks in the ditch, which caused damage to the undercarriage of her vehicle. Collision Specialists responded and removed the vehicle from the ditch. Kricke was wearing her seat belt and wasn't injured in the crash. No charges will be filed in this matter. CFS20-17036 07/16/20 Attempt to locate suspicious vehicle Pine Grove Road / Whig Rd,  PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818 On July 16, 2020 at approximately 2:00 PM a juvenile female was jogging on Pine Grove Road near the intersection of Whig Road, Platteville Township. Vehicle vs Buggy Grant county

Vehicle vs Amish Buggy - minor injury HWY 80, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818  On September 28, 2020 at 6:02 p.m., William A. Richard (71) of Platteville was traveling south in his 2017 Chrysler 200 on STH 80 just South of Stub Road in Lima Township when he was unable to avoid crashing into an Amish Buggy being driven by Ephraim S. Lapp (30) of Platteville. Lapp was thrown from the buggy and sustained an injury to his hand but refused treatment. The horse was uninjured in the crash however the buggy was a complete loss. Richard was not injured in the crash. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was able to be driven from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
