CFS # Date Address One vehicle crash CFS19-30142 10/23/19 On October 23, 2019, at approximately 12:12 a.m., Bryan Dozier, age 22 of Tyler, TX, was traveling north on Southwest Road in PlattevilleTownship when he fell asleep, entered the left ditch line and crashed into a line pole. Dozier's 2017 Nissan Sentra was totaled in the crash. The vehicle was removed by SOS Towing of Platteville. CFS # Date Address Blown tire leads to one vehicle rollover and OWI arrest. CFS19-22846 08/15/19 HWY 151 / WEST LN, DICKEYVILLE, WI On 08/15/2019 at approximately 3:15 p.m., on Hwy 151 North of West Lane in Jamestown Township, Centaura Vaasen, age 51 of Dickeyville, was traveling northbound in her 2000 Dodge Durango. While traveling the back passenger tire blew out causing the vehicle to enter the median and overturn. Vaasen was not injured in the crash, but was checked on scene by Dickeyville EMS. After investigation, Vaasen was arrested for OWI 1st offense. The Grant County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Dickeyville Ems, Dickeyville fire, and Donnies Tire and Tow. **Persons arrested by the Grant County Sheriff's Office are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. Vehicle Fire / Arrest 02/27/20 HWY 133 / W PINE RD, MUSCODA, WI 53573 On February 27, 2020 at approximately 6:45 am the Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a vehicle on fire on Hwy 133 near W Pine Rd located in the Township of Muscoda. Jody Kellogg, age 46 from Boscobel, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 133 in his 1995 Toyota Camry when the engine compartment caught on fire. Kellogg pulled to the side of the roadway and was able to exit the vehicle without injury. The Sheriff's Office was assisted in this matter by the Muscoda Fire Department and the vehicle was removed from the scene by L&M Salvageof Richland Center. Kellogg was summonsed for Operating After Revocation and Failure to have an IID Installed.
