Two vehicle crash - no injury
CFS19-26913 09/21/19 HWY 151, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818
On September 21st at approximately 8:19 p.m., Arianna Frost, age 21 of Valders, WI, was traveling north on Hwy 151 in her 2006 Saturn Ion when she attempted to turn onto Southwest Road. Frost did not see John Quinones, age 21 of Madison, WI, traveling south on Hwy 151 in
his 2013 Honda Accord. Frost's vehicle struck the driver's side rear corner of the Quinones vehicle causing it to go into the ditch. Both vehicles were driven from the scene and Donnie's Tire and Tow assisted. Frost was cited for failure to yield right of way.

CFS19-27240 09/24/19 Intersection of STH 81 and USH 61/35, LANCASTER, WI
53813

On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at approximately 8:24 p.m., 58 yo David Becker of Deer Park, WI was operating his 2018 Volvo Semi pulling a loaded stock trailer. Becker was westbound on STH 81 and as he approached the intersection with USH 61/35, in the Town of South Lancaster, he failed to stop at the stop sign and drove through the intersection into the ditch on the west side of USH 61/35. Becker was wearing his seatbelt and did not sustain any injuries.
The semi tractor sustained minor front end damage and was removed from the ditch by Kieler Service Center. As a result of the crash, USH 61 was shut down for approximately 30 min. The semi was then able to be driven under it's own power. Assisting the Sheriff's Office at the
scene were: Kieler Service Center, Lancaster Fire Dept., and the Lancaster Police Dept.

CFS19-27262 09/25/19 HWY 35/61/151, HAZEL GREEN, WI 53811
On 09/25/19 at approximately 5:40 a.m., Jamison Clement, age 48 of Claremont MN, was operating a semi tractor trailer owned by Chris Whitaker Trucking. Jamison had just left the Welcome Center, and was traveling southbound on Hwy 151 when he was rear-ended by a 2000 Ford Taurus operated by Jordan Flogel, age 28 of Lancaster. Jordan's sustained minor injuries, and was cared for by Dickeyville EMS. Jamison was not injured. Jamison's semi trailer sustained minor damage and Jordan's car was totaled. Jamestown 1st Responders and Jamestown Fire Department assisted at the scene. Jordan's vehicle was removed by Guy's Trucking, of Kieler. The crash remains under investigation.

Farming accident injures 20 month old CFS19-16628 06/18/19 UNION RD, Platteville Wisconsin. On June 18, 2019 at approximately 7:02 pm, the Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a 20 month old boy who was involved in a farmingaccident at a residence on Union Road. James Zimmerman was working in the barn and turned to shut the conveyor off. When he did, his 20 month old boy fell into the conveyor. The 20 month old boy suffered a serious injury to his right arm, right hand, right shoulder, left hand and chest. A Sheriff's Deputy and Southwest Health EMS arrived on scene and stabilized Brandon for Med Flight. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Southwest Health EMS and the Platteville Fire Department for setting up a landing zone for Med Flight. The Sheriff's Office determined this a accident.

CFS20-17002 Date 07/16/20 ONE VEHICLE CRASH WITH MINOR DAMAGE Address HWY 18 / OAK RD, FENNIMORE, WI 53809 On July 16, 2020, at approximately 7:55 A.M., Jessica Kricke (22 of Fennimore), was driving her 2009 Lincoln MKZ wes on Hwy 18 in Mt. Ida Township, when she swerved to avoid an animal in the road and drove into the north ditch. Kricke drove over several large rocks in the ditch, which caused damage to the undercarriage of her vehicle. Collision Specialists responded and removed the vehicle from the ditch. Kricke was wearing her seat belt and wasn't injured in the crash. No charges will be filed in this matter. CFS20-17036 07/16/20 Attempt to locate suspicious vehicle Pine Grove Road / Whig Rd,  PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818 On July 16, 2020 at approximately 2:00 PM a juvenile female was jogging on Pine Grove Road near the intersection of Whig Road, Platteville Township. A unidentified middle aged white male with brown hair driving a newer bright red mid-size pickup truck with matching

Vehicle vs Buggy Grant county

Vehicle vs Amish Buggy - minor injury HWY 80, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818  On September 28, 2020 at 6:02 p.m., William A. Richard (71) of Platteville was traveling south in his 2017 Chrysler 200 on STH 80 just South of Stub Road in Lima Township when he was unable to avoid crashing into an Amish Buggy being driven by Ephraim S. Lapp (30) of Platteville. Lapp was thrown from the buggy and sustained an injury to his hand but refused treatment. The horse was uninjured in the crash however the buggy was a complete loss. Richard was not injured in the crash. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was able to be driven from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
