3 Vehicle Crash Closes Hwy 80 for 5 Hours
CFS19-31111 11/01/19 Hwy 80, LIVINGSTON, WI 53554

On 11-1-19, at around 7pm, the Grant County Sheriff's Office received a report of a 3 vehicle crash on Hwy 80 near Biddick Seeds. Upon investigation, it is believed that Marcia Boyd, age 66 of Dodgeville, WI, was traveling north on Hwy 80, slowing to turn into Biddick Seeds with her husband when Sam Hamra, age 35 of Springfield, IL, was coming up behind her. Hamra failed to stop his Ford Explorer, and collided withthe rear of Boyd's Toyota Prius. As a result of that collision, the Prius was pushed across the center line into the path of a southbound Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by Carley Reisen, age 27 of Montfort, WI. All four subjects were transported to the hospital for injuries.Hamra was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated. Additional charges are likely for Hamra , pending a full accident reconstruction. Assisting the Sheriff's Office at the scene was Wisconsin State Patrol-Accident Reconstruction, Montfort EMS, Highland EMS, Southwest Health EMS, Montfort Fire, Livingston-Clifton Fire & 1st Responders, Doan's Auto Body, and Haase Towing.
