13651 06/12/20 Motorcycle Crash with Injury CTY P / WILLIS LN, BAGLEY, WI On June 12th at approximately 9:30pm, the Sheriff's Office was notified of a motorcycle crash on County Highway P south of Willis Lane in Wyalusing Township. After investigation and speaking with witnesses, it was determined that Craig Homuth, age 54 of Bagley, was operating his 2011 Harley Davidson southbound on County P. Homuth failed to negotiate a left-hand corner and his motorcycle entered the gravel shoulder on the right side of the road. Homuth then lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from the bike. The motorcycle overturned an unknown amount of times and went airborne over a fence before coming to a rest in a field approximately 75 yards from the roadway. A motorist who had been traveling behind Homuth stopped to check on his condition and call 911. Homuth was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious injuries. Homuth was transported via ambulance to Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie Du Chien and was later airlifted to a Madison hospital. The Bagley Fire Department, Bagley First Responders, West Grant EMS, and B&M Towing assisted at the scene. Homuth is tentatively being cited for Failure to Keep a Vehicle Under Control and the crash remains under investigation.
