On October 23, 2019, at approximately 12:12 a.m., Bryan Dozier, age 22 of Tyler, TX, was traveling north on Southwest Road in PlattevilleTownship
when he fell asleep, entered the left ditch line and crashed into a line pole. Dozier's 2017 Nissan Sentra was totaled in the crash.

The vehicle was removed by SOS Towing of Platteville. Traffic Stop leads to OWI Arrest

CFS19-30243 10/23/19 Hwy 151, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818

On October 23, 2019 at approximately 11:56 pm, a Grant County Deputy was traveling south on Hwy 151 near County O when he met avehicle traveling north in the south bound lane. At the same time the Grant County Communications Center received a 911 call of this same vehicle, with the complaint of it traveling north in the south bound lane. The Grant County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle near Hummingbird Lane. The driver was identified as Devin Malott, age 28 of Belmont. After an investigation, Devin Malott was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st offense and after processing, was later released to a responsible party.

**Persons arrested by the Grant County Sheriff's Office are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. An arrest is only anindication that probable cause exists to bring formal charges.** The names of victims and witnesses to a crime have been withheld in
accordance with §950.04.
Minor 2 vehicle crash

CFS19-30383 10/25/19 HWY 151 / HUMMINGBIRD RD, PLATTEVILLE, WI 53818

On October 25, 2019 at approximately 11:56 AM Shelia Thomas, age 37 of Platteville, was traveling west on Hummingbird Road, Platteville
Township in her 1998 Ford F150. Thomas was approaching the stop sign at the intersection of Hummingbird Road and Hwy 151 when theF150 lost power. Thomas could not get the F150 stopped and it rolled through the stop sign. The F150 crashed into a 2018 GMC Acadia
driven by Patricia Salisbury, age 72 of Platteville, who was traveling northbound on Highway 151. The crash caused minor damage to bothvehicles. All involved parties were wearing safety belts. Thomas was issued a citation for no having valid insurance on her vehicle. The GrantCounty Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by SOS Towing, Platteville.

On 10-28-2019 at approximately 6:25 am the Grant County Sheriff's Office received a call of a 2 vehicle crash. The crash was between a vanand a pickup, both northbound on Hwy 61. The operator of the truck was an Eric Mook, age 43 of Potosi, WI, who was operating his GMC
Sierra pickup truck and was stopped in the lane of traffic waiting to make a left hand turn with his left turn signal on. The operator of the vanwas a Julie Salmon, age 32 of Potosi, WI, who was operating her Dodge Grand Caravan. Julie saw the blinker, but she was reaching for
something in the vehicle and had to swerve to avoid a high impact crash. Salmon collided with the Mook truck causing drivable damage toboth vehicles. Crash report was completed and photos were taken. Both parties were wearing there seatblts. The crash is under investigationat this time.
